What our experts say
"Alastin Gentle Cleanser is great for the Summer! It gently removes all makeup & sunscreen. It does not have harsh active ingredients (like many cleansers on the market), which can cause irritation and sun sensitivity so it is perfect if you are spending more time in the sun. As a bonus, it contains Oat Kernel Extract and Bisabolol, which both help calm inflamed skin."

Common Questions

Is Gentle Cleanser oil free?
Yes, Gentle Cleanser is oil free.
Does Gentle Cleanser have a fragrance?
Yes, Gentle Cleanser does not contain artificial or synthetic fragrance.
Can I use Gentle Cleanser post treatment?
Yes, Gentle Cleanser is designed for daily use and is gentle enough for post-treatment.
What makes Gentle Cleanser sulfate free?
While Gentle Cleanser is free of irritating sulfates, it does contain a sulfonate that gives it the “foaming” action. Unlike sulfates, sulfonates are derived from coconuts. Sulfonates help certain molecules, like those found in makeup, oily products, moisturizers, and SPF more easily break down, helping clear them from your skin.
